Security Manager

Location: Modesto, CA
Type: Full‑Time
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday (with some flexibility)

About the Role

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Account Manager to lead frontline security operations at our Modesto, Vintage Faire Mall site. You'll guide a team of security officers and supervisors to ensure the protection of people, property, and client assets. This role places you as the key liaison—coaching your team, managing client expectations, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Team & Operations Management
  Hire, train, schedule, coach, and evaluate security personnel and supervisors. Oversee payroll, performance reviews, and any discipline or terminations.
• Client Relationship & Service Delivery
  Serve as the primary client contact—respond to escalations, conduct site check-ins, maintain operational standards, and uphold full contractual compliance with minimal unbilled overtime.
• Emergency Response & Compliance
  Manage security incidents, coordinate with clients and law enforcement, enforce safety protocols, and facilitate emergency preparedness.
• Resource & Budget Oversight
  Oversee inventory of uniforms, equipment, and other essentials, while optimizing staffing levels and controlling costs.
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in security management, business operations, or team supervision, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma (or equivalent); bachelor’s degree in Business or Criminal Justice preferred
• Valid driver’s license and required security licensing per state/local regulations
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based scheduling systems
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, communication, and client-relations skills
• Knowledge of risk assessments, emergency preparedness, security protocols, and ability to resolve conflict effectively
